Website Template
1) Buy a domain. Give careful consideration before making your final choice. AI domain searches can provide superior domain name possibilities that you may not have considered.
2) Buy a web hosting plan. (These two are normally bought at the same time.) More advanced hosting technologies will cost more. The type of web hosting that you buy determines the type of template that you can run. They work together.
If you are an individual or small company, shared web hosting is what you want, generally speaking.
3) Pick out an attractive website template that suits your needs. Do I get a Product Page, a Terms of Use page, and an About Us page ? Will I be able to add pages and change text ? Consider how frequently are you actually planning on changing the text ?
Note: There are companies that provide all three: the domain, the web hosting for the domain, and a selection of templates.
4) Follow the installation instructions and get assistance if necessary. Either your hosting company can help you or the template seller will provide support.
There are some great website templates out there in the marketplace. But the most important thing is to identify what you actually need in a site template. How easy is it to add a page - across the entire site for example ? Can I quickly change an image or text ?
Be aware of what your hosting company provides. If they are only a WordPress hosting company, then you can only buy WordPress templates (themes).
